Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

Working draft These terms are in final legal review for launch. Big changes will show up in the app and at the top of this page.

Agreement

By using Chancey, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Chancey. If you use Chancey for an organization, you confirm you have the right to bind that organization.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is greater. You also confirm that lottery play is legal where you live.

What Chancey is

Chancey is an information and convenience tool for lottery players. It helps you pick numbers, save sets, scan tickets, and check published draw results.

What Chancey is not

  • Not a lottery retailer. We cannot sell tickets or pay prizes.
  • Not part of any state, provincial, or national lottery.
  • Not a predictor. Lottery draws are random and Chancey cannot improve the odds of winning.
  • Not a substitute for the lottery's results or claims process.

Your account and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for what happens through it. Don't:

  • Use Chancey if you are under 18 or the local age of majority.
  • Try to break, scrape, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Upload images of other people's documents, IDs, or sensitive personal data.
  • Use Chancey to run, advertise, or recruit for any unlawful gambling activity.
  • Use Chancey to harass, abuse, defraud, or impersonate anyone.

Subscriptions and payments

The core experience is free today. If we offer paid features, we will show the price, billing schedule, and how to cancel before you buy. Payments run through the platform or checkout you used to subscribe (web checkout, App Store, or Google Play). To cancel, use the same channel.

Refunds follow the policy of the platform that processed your payment, plus any consumer rights you have where you live that we can't waive.

Your responsibility

Always check important ticket info and winning status with the official lottery. The number tools are for fun and organization. They do not predict or improve odds. Keep the original ticket safe, Chancey is a checking tool, not a payout service.

Disclaimers

Chancey is provided "as is" with no warranties, to the maximum extent the law allows. We do not guarantee the service will run without breaks or errors. Draw matching is based on what the lottery posts. The lottery is the source of truth.

Limit of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Chancey is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or example damages. We are not liable for lost prizes, lost profits, or lost data from your use of the service. Some places don't allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows.

Termination

You can stop using Chancey any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, that we have to remove by law, or that pose a security risk. If your account is closed, your data is handled per the Privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Big changes will show up in the app and at the top of this page, with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after the changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

The governing law and dispute resolution will be set at launch. For now, please reach us through the contact form with any concerns. We will work with you in good faith.
